assistant weekend manager needed. roughly 20-25 hours (flexible to pick up/cover for a few more hours from time to time).Friday, Saturday and Sundays required - specific hours are somewhat flexible - can discuss.The ideal candidate:is looking for a part-time weekend position and hasexperience in restaurant management orexperience as a senior server (lead) at minimum. Looking for a kind and pleasant person that enjoys interacting with guests and can navigate the nuance of customer service with grace.Responsibilities will include:- running the floor during service- overseeing expo during service- covering scheduling issues- resolving any guest issues- ability to step into any FOH position if the need arises- able to walk stairs multiple times a day (this is a physical job)- assist Owner/operator with scheduling and orderingThis position can be tailored to fit a quality candidate. We are looking for someone that has commitments during the week, but has full availability on the weekend and is looking to join a wonderful team in South Evanston.We are a block away from the Main Street CTA and Metra stops as well as the Chicago Avenue (Clark Street in Chicago) bus.
